More Keeps Coming Back to You
Your managers are in place, but too many problems, decisions, and exceptions still find their way back to you.
Strategic operational advisory for owners, presidents, COOs and ops leaders running 5+ units, looking to strengthen profitability, scale with confidence, or prepare for an eventual exit.
The Cost of Complexity
You’ve already built a successful restaurant business. But across 5, 10, 20+ locations, the things that were once easier to control become harder to keep consistent.
Your managers are in place, but too many problems, decisions, and exceptions still find their way back to you.
One unit hits the numbers. Another misses them. The question is why?
A little extra labor, food waste, beverage cost, paper cost, or inventory leakage may not look significant at one store. Across an entire portfolio, it becomes a very different number.
The systems and SOPs exist, but execution gets less consistent as more locations and managers are added.
The next location should create leverage, not replicate the same cost, management, or execution problems across another unit.
When it’s time to sell, buyers will look closely at unit performance, margins, management, systems, and consistency. Better to find and strengthen those gaps before they do.
The ScalePoint Approach
Ben starts with the numbers across each location to identify where margin is being lost, where performance differs, and which opportunities matter most.
Then he works with your team to address the right issues, measure the results, and strengthen the operation before you scale further or prepare for an exit.
Meet Ben Miller
Ben Miller has spent more than 15 years in restaurant operations, working his way from the restaurant floor into management, multi-unit operations, and ultimately leadership of his family’s multi-unit restaurant business.
When that business was producing millions in revenue but operating close to break-even, Ben went into the numbers, tightened food and labor controls, implemented KPIs and dashboards, improved management accountability, and moved the company to meaningful profitability.
That stronger operation became more valuable, and in 2021, the restaurant business ultimately sold to private equity.
So when Ben talks about optimizing, scaling, and positioning a restaurant business for an exit, he’s speaking from direct operating experience.
Now, Ben helps multi-unit restaurant operators apply that same operational discipline to their own businesses, identifying where profit is being lost, strengthening what needs to be fixed before scaling, and preparing the operation for whatever comes next.
